The Process
Thanks to recent advances in polishing equipment and techniques, concrete can now be ground and polished to a high wet gloss look that never needs any type of coating. Technologies in diamond abrasives now allow concrete floors to be polished through mechanical abrasion and friction, and then hardened. Polishing concrete is similar to sanding wood. Polishing is performed with machines equipped with progressively finer grits of diamond tooling, like sandpaper. The equipment and tooling gradually grinds and polishes the surface to the desired degree of shine and smoothness. Our process is free of harmful chemicals. login
